I have received a contract application from Calstone Financial, I have NOT given them any of my information as of yet, but I am contemplating their offer, and after much investigation, I have not really been able to find any negative information about them anywhere!! This company offered me a loan for 5,000 with an $800 collateral. I told the lady that I thought paying for loans was illegal and she said that they do not ask for someone to pay to get a loan, they ask for customers to put up collateral that is returned to them after the first 6 months of consecutive payments. I know this sounds a lot like the Ameritrust Financial or whatever it was that was a huge scam, but these people really seem legit and I have checked the complaint boards online and I have checked the BBB, and NOTHING ANYWHERE has a negative thing to say about them.....

Does anyone have an experience with them, good bad or otherwise, that might help me know what to do next???
