A nice young man named Keelan Malloy came to my door and began a very impressive speech about how he was selling magazines to earn points to go on a trip to Mexico. Having children of my own, it was east to fall for the fundraising spill. I succombed and purchased 2 magazines. He suggested payment of cash and thankfully I did not give him, however I did write a check for 97$ and sent him on his way. I began a search of his company on the internet and found that the whole thing is a scam!! I also called my local police department to alert them that this was happening as he pointed out that the woman down the street had just purchased 4 subscriptions! Poor lady, , just hope that she figures this out like I did. Ooh and I also stopped payment on my check.Where he is going will be warm, but I dont think it will be Mexico...
