I have the Polaroid 32" LCD Flat Panel HDTV - LWT32000C/ TV-DVD Combo...I got in 2007 as a gift so I put it in my spare bedroom (rarely used) From day 1 the DVD player never worked..I called customer service they sent a Sears Repair guy out and replaced the DVD Player...(DVD Player still doesn't work) Just recently I was watching the TV and steam starting coming from the back like a tea kettle...I called customer service and went though some troubleshooting...they told me it was a capacitor (how do you know over the phone) obviously my warranty is non and void BUT due to the reviews I've seen online this appears to be a TV with a BAD rep...What a coincident the reviews are about a DVD player that does not work...TV screen going black and TV going out period...Going forward, customer service told me I had the option of purchasing another TV ( yeah right) OR paying $258 to replace the back of the TV and they'll send me $100 back after they receive the defective (which was defective from gate) As a customer, (being that this was a Lemon from the start) ~ I think Polaroid should do the honors of sending me a new TV...
