I bought an f-150 2002 and just after I got the rear end started making this roaring noise and when you start off and turn it jumps or skips. I really don’t want to get screwed when I go to get it fixed, I have limited funds, and don’t want to be taken to the cleaners. Ernie Haire Ford in Tampa, Fla. Charged me $80.00 to tell me it was the rear end making noise and would cost anywhere from 500 to 2, 000 dollars to fix, but we want know that until we get in there, the damage has already been done so just drive it until it leaves you on the side of the road, then get it fixed. Some dealership, huh. Any information on this will be highly appreciated.
