I had to cancel a vacation because of work. I went to the travel agent and told them that we would not be able to go on the scheduled dates and asked what I needed to do to reschedule the trip. They informed me it would be a $100 penalty, but that I would have a year to take the trip. After about 8 months I went in to schedule my trip and found that the travel agent had never canceled my vacation so now I am out $880! I have called and go in to see what can be done. They tried to tell me I never came in, then they said I came in after the trip was scheduled, both lies! I am throughly disgusted that they can get away with this.
