Excuse my redundancy...not sure if I intially posted right under comments. George Donovan tried to manipulate me too. My husband and I work hard for everything we have. We have a family of 3 active kids to support and no time to deal with BS. My husband owns a lanscaping businness and I am a teacher at an inner city middle school in Providence. When I rented our little beach cottage that we love in the summer to George he seemed very nice. Quickly, he was late on the balance due within a few extra days that we agreed on. I smelled trouble as he avaded me by phone. then i read this website, looked up his criminal history and I went to my house and told him to pack up and get out w/in 4 days and I would give him back the deposit. He refused and said to take it the legal route! I went to the state police they took him out of bed and brought him to jail. He then waived extradition to Conn. I guess he didnt believe me when I said to get the...out! Now I am moving forward with the legal eviction for non-payment of rent. It is a bit complicated with him in Conn. All his stuff is in the house even an old beat up truck in my driveway. I understand now that he was evicted from his last personal residence in Sept. and evicted from his business industrial work space. That landlord is holding all his tools etc. in storage as collateral. he told me that he just moved his stuff out one day...I didnt do my homework before giving him the keys. I know his MO now He has dug a hole so deep for himself he cannot get out. I'm sorry but he cannot live at my expense! He has got to face himself now... Any advice...I am so stressed?? I just want him out of my life. where do I go from here? Please help...
