I just want to start by saying that this is NOT a complaint. My boyfriend and I have been smoking Marlboro Mediums 100's for a few years now. We have been trying to switch to different brands for the primary reason of trying to save money. We first noticed the problem of the cigarettes going out with the Camel lights. I personally thought that we bought a bad batch or something. So we finally resorted to returning back to the Marlboro Mediums. After a few weeks I started to notice that the same issue was happening with these too. At first both of us were annoyed at the fact that we were spending all this money on cigaretts that were not staying lit. We were both talking to each other one day trying to figure out if this was a bad thing the tobacco industry was doing or was it reasonable. We came to the conclusion that is was actually nice if you think about it from this perspective that i would like to share with everyone... My boyfriend and I have the tendincey to smoke a cigarette in the bed right before we go to sleep for the night (not the best decision in the world, but hey, nobody is perfect) and sometimes after we both light our cigarette we fall alseep with it still lit sometimes... well if you put two and two together you can realize that sometimes we burn the bedspread. So we came to the conclusion that with the new cigarettes the tobacco companies have made, its less likely to burn and destroy the bed and other items in the house. We both applaude the companies for their idea. We both think it's great. and for all the people who are upset about the money your complaing about wasting on your cigarettes... why don't you just quit or deal with it. they are actually trying to help you people out. so before you start knocking their ideas... put yourself in their shoes... or try to broading your thinking on the actual reason why they are trying new things.
