In 2007 we purchased a Maytag Washing Machine, Dryer, dishwasher, oven and refrigerator. To this day, the only thing that hasn't needed service is the Dryer. I have spent over $500 in parts and service on my Washing machine and it STILL needs another $300 part to work properly. If this isn't enough, even when it does work, it STINKS all the time! I have tried all the tricks, always leave the door open, use the correct detergent, etc, but it needs to be cleaned with the washing machine cleaner each time I go to do laundry. This is a whole extra load of wash, EMPTY. Energy efficient HAH!

I am no happier with my refrigerator that FREEZES everything and never makes ice properly, or my dishwasher that has been serviced twice and recalled OR my oven that self cleaning option is inoperable and actually burned out the heating unit which had to be replaced, one year after we bought it!

I will NEVER buy another Maytag or any of its other lines again and I caution anyone reading this to think VERY hard before buying Maytag.
