I was WAY overcharged for a fall clean-up/ leaf removal! My yard is maybe an acre - but at least 1/3 is just brush. I was charged $625 for just cleaning up the leaves - another $85 for dumping the leaves (even though I indicated they could dump right in the wooded/brush area on my property) AND a cut @ $45. Total w/tax came to $807.85. I'm a single Mom and the house I'm in is big so it's always assumed I can afford it - but I can't! It's taking everything I've got and I'm still behind in bills and taking care of this place! The invoice I rec'd wasn't itemized - he gave me a verbal estimate of an hourly rate but never cleared w/me w/the total would be - nor did I agree. It's outrageous.
