MB XL Ent fraudulantly processed an electronic check using my bank account routing number and checking acocunt number through Bank of America. My Bank of America Check Fraud Department was very helpful and removed the charge and then I was advised to place a security block on my account until all charges have cleared and then close my account and open a new account. I was also told that if I chose not to place the security block, that the bank would not be responsible for any other unauthorized charges. I am not quite sure how my information was acquired but most likely from paying a bill online with an electronic check. Of course that is all speculation.
