I was simply told that I would be asked to keep McLeod for 12 months.
Later, after not being able to use DSL for three days, I decided I was not
happy.
I was then informed that I would have to pay a cancellation fee for the
phone service (apprx $33)
for DSL (apprx $70) and for the DSL modem, since "we don't take them back"
(apprx $96).
I will probably have to see what the telecom laws say about such things...
