Stack and Tilt Trial Ripoff. In June, 2010, I signed up for a free trial for Stack and Tilt, and made the mistake of giving Medicus my credit card info. I canceled the "subscription" by phone on July 2, 2010. After reviewing my bank statements on Jan 6, 2011, I discovered a $21.
charge, then went back and saw that Medicus has been billing me for 6 months. I immediately called Medicus and spoke with a rep, told him to immediately cancel. He refused, saying that I would have to speak with a supervisor. (A hail Mary tactic to give you another offer you can't refuse.) Jenny Cunningham did call back and left a message on voice. We'll see what happens Monday, but from the complaints I've been reading about Medicus, it looks like it's unlikely that they'll refund my money.
Do yourself a favor and avoid these crooks.
