I have had the same phone number for 5 1/2 years. Today I saw two charges of $19.95 each on my phone bill. I called the number listed for Member's Edge LLC for MEMBER'S EDGE VOICEMAIL MONTHLY FEE to find out that Member's Edge LLC allowed someone who was not even listed on my phone bill to charge these charges to my phone. How can it be that when you call your phone company, you have to give your social security number or the special number associated with your phone number from your phone bill to even get customer service, then someone who just calls and uses the phone number can make charges to your phone? Fortunately, I was able to have the charges removed but of course that can take 30-60 days to appear on your bill. It was suggested that the charges be paid to keep your phone bill from showing a late fee or your phone service be interrupted due to a past due amount. WOW, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE!
