About Us

Michael W. Crosby, CPA

My name is Michael Crosby and I have been a CPA in Texas since 2005. My main area of expertise is income taxation.

My office is located in the South Belt area of Houston. The primary area that we serve is within a 20 mile radius from our office, which includes most of Harris and Galveston counties.

I provide tax preparation (business, individual, and non-profit income tax; business personal property tax, and sales/use tax), accounting (bookkeeping, financial statements, and payroll), and advisory (tax and accounting matters). I serve a variety of industries. However, there are certain clients that are not a good fit for my practice:

Attorneys
Any entity that requires an audit (publicly-traded companies, financial institutions, governments)
Utility companies
•Chains and franchises
•Entities grossing more than $1 million in annual sales

In addition to being a CPA, I am a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and Sleeter Group Consultant. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Houston CPA Society.

My prior experience includes working in the tax departments of a fast-growing retailer and a well-established business aviation firm in Houston. Additionally, I have government accounting experience from my work with the State of Texas and Harris County. I have a Master of Accountancy degree and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas State University.

In my spare time, I love to take road trips, going to the beach, spending time with my family and with my dog Virgil.
