After posting somewhat of a complaint about Microsoft's inability to make halfway decent, quality products in my bio on my xbox live account, I've recently received a notice saying that my account is being suspended. My complaint was not harmful to anyone in anyway, it was basically stating the fact that their products are garbage and their warranty is even worse. I bought a microsoft wireless headset for my xbox 360 and after only a few months of use, the battery in the unit stopped receiving a charge. I called to see if maybe I could get a replacement or if I could mail them my unit and them fix it for free...No of course it couldn't be that simple. I was told that their is only a three month warranty on their wireless headsets, and the man, who also could not speak English very well at all, kept saying that their was nothing he could do, and that I needed to pay out of pocket my own money for another unit. Reluctantly I went out and bought another 60$ wireless headset. Not exactly cheap for a piece of garbage unit that would break on me 5 months later. Of course, it being 5 months after, the warranty was already expired. I call back again, and was greeted with another non proper English speaking representative. I guess Microsoft being a billion dollar company can't afford people over in the United States for customer service, they have to save money and have help service lines over in foreign country's so they can save a few dollars. Obviously they need to being only a billion dollar company. But yes, the man repeated the same thing the man from the previous issue said. "I cannot help you sir, you'll have to buy another wireless headset." No, you read correctly, I was supposed to buy another wireless headset after the first two stopped receiving a battery charge. Basically, I wasn't going to buy another headset. After coming to the conclusion that I'd never have another wireless headset, due to the fact that they are made poorly, I decided to let my fellow xbox live acquaintances aware of such a product. I basically stated the issue in fewer sentences and I thought it was perfectly fine to voice my experiences from their company. But forgetting that Microsoft and xbox live are their own fascist countries now, I also forgot that my freedom of speech was taken away as well. They sent me an email stating that people had complained about my bio (my bio stated all of the facts about their faulty product), which is an absolute lie. I am one hundred percent sure, that no one was insulted or hurt emotionally in any way to what was said in my bio. The fact that they did this was because they didn't want the truth about their crappy product being visual to the public. I said nothing, racial, said nothing slanderous of any kind or anything untrue. It was all the truth. Being a loyal customer for so long and being a member of xbox live since the beginning, I am truly infuriated after being suspended from a service I pay for. I also have an account in FFXI online, which is 14.99$ a month and a Netflix account that is 8.99$ a month which are now both inaccessible. Here is the email I received from them...The thank you at the end is a pathetic attempt at humor I might add.
