I would like to bring to your attention the quality of the Eisbein, served at your Mayville franchise.
We ordered 2 x Eisbeins on Sunday...crispy, not basted. The food arrived...basted...the waitron tried to convince me that it was basted and crispy...impossible. We send it back. The next Eisbeins arrived...perfect...crispy...That is where it stopped. We ate some of the meat and asked for the rest to be packed in a doggy bag.
When we got home, I tried to slice the meat into thin slices for using on sandwitches. Both the Eisbeins must have been from a 10 year old, at least, pig...full of sinew and gristle. If we did not live far away from the restaurant, I would have taken the food back.
My dogs seem to enjoy the meat.
The preparation of the food was good...the quality..very poor. I think that the supplier of the Eisbein to the outlet is to blame.
This was not the first time that we have been at the franchise, but it could well be the last.
