passport applied in tatkal scheme on 05/05/11 (REF file no. GZBB00627711) with status shown as 'ready on 10/05/11' has not yet been delivered inspite of varification being also done. Do we need a tatkal scheme for passport delivery by postoffice? Please inform what I am supposed to do. I am a senior citizen and have served as GOVT OF INDIA class 1 official for 9 years and another 24 years in govt undertakings. I feel that as a respectable citizen and taxpayer of this country I deserve this service and I am willing to pay extra legitimate charges if any but I am not willing to trace and go after postmen to get my passport delivered. I would like to get information as to when the passport was despatched and received at our local post office so that I can take appropriate action.
