My husband and I bought a beautiful German Shepherd pup for over $3000 dollars, the "pick of the litter" we were told and after being diagnosed with Canine OCD and spending thousands of dollars trying to correct it, he died at 2 years old from 100% Mesenteric Torsion. Our poor dog. We loved him so much and wouldn't trade him for the world, but he had issues. After talking to a few experts we had found out that the father and grandfather of our dog have many health problems, although they are show dogs. When wer told the breeders about the tail chasing they said it was our fault and didn't want to take any responsibility for any of our dog's genetic issues. Please, be aware when buying a dog form these people. The dogs are beautiful but some of them ARE SICK!!!
