My wife and I visited Myrtle Beach and attended a Monster Resort Group presentation. It was very appealing to be able to get very nice accommodations at cut-rate prices and we bought a package. The next day, we had second thoughts since our extended family (about 50+ persons) typically rent about 6 houses at a NC beach and have a weeklong reunion each year. I called Mark and he did not hesitate to say that he wanted us to be happy and would give us a full refund in 30 days. I also sent Monster a rescission letter. As Mark promised, the check arrived last week. When we retire and start taking more vacations, we will probably look at vacation packages again but that will be several years down the road.
