I ordered this for my 8 year old daughter after she saw a commercial on TV for it, thinking "What a nice thing for a young girl, iinstead of toys..." - So I gave in and ordered it. They have the BOGO offer, so I ordered 2 child sized necklaces thinking I will get ONLY 2 as the checkout on the site did NOT specify to only order 1 and 1 would be auto. added to the order, and when I went through the checkout/payment page it NEVER once said "4" necklaces were ordered/shipped/or charged for.
It only said "2"...well needless to say - I never recv'd a confirmation email (I did it all online) stating I had ordered 4, no confirmation number or anything until this morning - I ordered this last week sometime and NOW today on a Saturday I recieve an email confirming the SHIPPING of my order for 4 pieces and payment charging me for 4 on my card!! So instead of $40 + I am being charged 419 +!!!
NOT what I had planned for.
So in the future JUST don't order anything as seen on TV especially with BOGO's - they will find a way to rip you off apparently. I finally got through to a C.S. agent and she said "Sorry, they are already shipped to you, cannot cancel, BUT there should be a return shipping label to send the 2 unwanted ones BACK free of shipping..." - Supposedly. I guess I will soon see if this will be for sure...
I should have known better, BUT it was a religious piece and I thought naively that it wouldn't be a rip off...silly me.
Lesson Learned.
