I went on-line looking for the best price for a hotel in downtown Madrid. Received a very official looking voucher in exchange for my credit card information. They were paid in May 2010 for a room I was to have on the night of October 11th. On reaching the hotel, the clerk could not find my reservation. On a hunch, he looked through the canceled reservation file and found a FAXed paper that indicated the reservation had been canceled (it said by the customer, which is a complete lie). I returned to the U.S. the following day and my husband called the credit card company. The agent said that there is a long list of complaints on "Moss Travel." I only wish that such companies could be flagged so that transfer of funds cannot go to them. Mastercard sent us a form, which we did fill out-- have not heard from them in 3 weeks, so I am assuming that my money is gone. DO NOT USE MOSS TRAVEL OR ANY OF THEIR LISTED AFFILIATES. And by the way, they must "borrow" names of several other legitimate companies. We used "Best Booking" before and it was completely legitimate. Was surprised when the voucher said Moss Travel, but figured that they just changed the voucher style. Boy was I wrong! For good prices in Europe if the usual American sites don't come with a good deal, use centraldereservas, very good company based in Spain for deals all over Europe, or venere.com which does the same and it is based in Italy. Both can be accessed in English.
