Had clutch replaced. When I took back to repair garage as clutch not working properly - the garage insisted it was the gear box not working. Had gear box replaced - still not happy, took back with the mechanic who replaced the gear box and stated that clutch not working properly. Car looked at again and I was assured that the clutch was guaranteed for a year and if any problems take it back. Whilst other work being done on car by a reputable garage was told that the clutch had been incorrectly fitted and was 95% worn. There was also a strong smell of burning when clutch used. Took back to garage for replacement clutch was informed that I would have to pay for a new clutch and if manufacturer deemed old clutch faulty then they would reimburse. Told them couldn't afford a new clutch as had already paid for one which was faulty. Garage mechanic/owner extremely rude and said car wouldn't be repaired unless clutch paid for. Told them to stuff it and removed my car from garage.
