They are not lawyers, but they present themselves as such. They are hired by law firms to acquire documents. Well, god help you if they get the wrong person! They will not take no for an answer! I have called twice and they do not accept verbal notice of having the wrong person. They demand it in writing on their packets of documents to be sent at your expense. Well, I mailed them back twice and they claim they never received either set (sets of 2). They also deny I ever called them. I get calls at least twice a week after they persuaded someone to give them my personal phone number. It has gotten ridiculous and I am tired of messages that imply that the caller is a lawyer when in fact they are not.
Also, through the magic of google I was able to find the contact information for who they DO want! And yet they cannot!
