Myself and a friend bought an apartment each in Royal Seacrest, Pafos, Cyprus. We paid MRI 12, 000.00 Euros each for a furniture package on December 08. We took posession of the properties in May 2009 and asked MRI to deliver the furniture. Low and behold MRI are no longer in Cyprus and looking at some of the letters of complaint against them they are no longer in Spain either but I have a contact address there, so fingers crossed.
MRI seem, when they are able to be contacted to come up with the most ridiculous excuses as to why they have failed to deliver but hopefully they will come clean.
A word of advice to anyone with similar problems is to contact the European Consumer Centre who deal with cross border complaints. So if you think nothing ca be done because they are a Spanish company it is okay as they will contact the Spanish Customs, Excise or Fraud Squad and deal with all complaints when all reasonable avenues are exhausted.

Would like to support existing complaint in respect of MRI Lifetime Aftersales Service. Having paid a two year subscription I have received zero information/support from the company since purchasing a property off plan in Cyprus and have been forced to resort to travelling over to the island at additional expense to view progress of the build. At the outset they appeared very experienced and knowledgeable on the Cyprus Property market and was assured of every support through the buying process.
With hindsight I would never do it again; and these guys were British!
