Cub Cadet Riding Tractor Deck Belt will not stay on pulleys. Has occurred [and continues to occur] many many times during the 2 years of ownership. Other Internet sites [http://www.compacttractorreview.com/review/Cub-Cadet/LT1045.aspx] have records of identical complaints from many consumers and MTD [Cub Cadet] has neither issued a recall on this tractor or issued a retrofit repair kit/procedure to resolve this major design flaw. The main drive pulley on the engine has no belt retainer/keeper brackets and the steep angle of the drive pulley in relation to the deck pulleys (in the mow position) appears to be a contributing factor in this issue.
