Illegal construction on land adjacent to government flats in G-9/2 is in full swing while the residents of the flats have built rooms on the land. As per details, the residents of sector G-9/2 are violating CDA's laws and building codes as they are constructing rooms on land adjacent to the residential flats. The residents are giving the rooms on rent. Initially the residents installed fences for car parking and after that constructed walls. Some residents of the area expressed concerns over increasing illegal construction and said that the land was opened for providing ground facilities to the residents but some elements are using the land for personal interests. They have demanded from the high authorities to take action against the responsible for illegal constructions and stop the activity.
