I wasn't quite up to the speaker yet - still back where I could read the 1st sign - when she asked to take my order. "I'm not quite up there, yet, " I said. She repeated, "Can I take your order?". Reading the sign, I asked, "What's the difference between a Mushroom/Swiss steakburger and a Mushroom/Swiss steakburger, LOADED?", I asked. I pulled forward as the car ahead had moved. "We don't have a loaded mushroom steakburger, " she said. Now I'm in front of the 2nd sign - still says both - with pictures. Now she corrects herself. "A mushroom/swissburger LOADED has potatoes on top of it, " she said. (Doesn't sound good.) "What does a regular one have?", I asked. "It has lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on it, " she says. (I dislike all that.) "Can I have two of them - just the sandwich, " I say, one regular and one without any mayonnaise, lettuce & tomato?" "That's two "mushroom steakburgers, " she said, "one regular and one without mushrooms and swiss . . .why don'tcha just get a . . ." "NO!!" I shouted into the speaker. I love the mushroom and swiss. I don't want the mayonnaise/lettuce tomato." Now I turn my attention to part 2 of my order. I select a "kids" 4 piece chicken tenders . . . but I don't want fries or a drink. (I'm bringing this back home and the kid doesn't want fries.) "Oh, it doesn't come that way, " she says. I look down at the value menu . . . still not finding an option without fries . . . but she is already onto suggesting the adult combo. Suddenly, I see the card on top of the speaker . . . inviting me to add Chicken sticks for $1.89. I order that. "Pull ahead to the window, " she says. (Now I'm wondering what my total is.) I pull ahead. I pay $11.31. I get home to find that I have TWO Mushroom/swiss steakburgers . . . neither with lettuce, tomato & mayonnaise. (My husband LIKES lettuce, tomato & mayonnaiase on his.)
