HomEq Servicing is a predatory lender! They harass me with 4+ phone calls per day, including weekends. As early as the 2nd day of each Month! *I thought that you were 'not' technically late until after the 15th of the Month?... *The collectors told me that: "I was on an automated call system"! Even though, I have not missed a payment; Yet.
Why is this company so adamant about putting us out of our homes?
I know that they could 'never' sell my home at a profit. It is 28-years old. Needs an enormous amount of work, to be put on the market. *In reality, they would lose money by foreclosing on me! *You wonder why people decide to stop paying??? *Leave there homes full of trash/old-furniture/filth??? *These folks are forced into this situation, by the unbearable stress of losing there homes.
Fact; There is an average of 2-3+ homes for sale on every block in my town...* I am certain, my town is not alone!
Predatory Mortgage Companies such as 'HomEq' are unwilling to work with the home owner to modify our loans.
They would rather raise our interest (every 6-Months), then adjust our interest rates to the prime. *Keep us off the streets, force honest hard-working families out of 'our' homes, and in doing so lower my neighbors/my property value . Which, in turn puts us 'all' into the unfair position of paying higher taxes to help the middle class to find alternate/afforable housing. My children would most definitely have to change schools, and lose there friends, and community affiliations.
Who is benefitting from such attrocities? I am certain that HomEq doesn't give their employees a raise every 6-Months. Nor, do they put these monies back into our community, local bussiness or school systems to help the families that are effected by these unafforable interest rates.
Someone has to put an end to this 'Monster'!!!
