In December of 2006 I purchased four tires for my 16 year old daughters car. I also had the front end aligned. At that time I purchased the road hazard insurance. My total bill was over $700.00. April 14th 2009 at 5:00 pm my daughter had a flat and they were trying to bill her so she called me. Since she was at another location I called the one where I purchased the tires. I ask them for a price on the same tire, They quoted a price of $74.00. I then called the location where my daughter was and confirmed this story. I purchased the tires at $64.00 each plus $22.00 for Road hazard insurance each. The tires had less than 30, 000 miles which were warranted for 60, 000 miles. Now they explained to me how the hazard insurance is pro-rated and the amount they were allowing was $9.00. The manager did not know I had just priced the same tire at another location and quoted the tire price of $84.00 each plus mounting and balancing bringing the total to over $100.00 for the warranty repair.
