Sad little trees didn't make it...

I ordered a total of 6 trees in August from Nature Hills and received most of them early December. Bare roots. We planted all six the day we received them. Watered when dry. Winter came a went and the stick trees stayed dormant. Spring arrived and only one of the two Tulip Populars budded and sprouted leaves. The Wisteria also has leaves. Did scratch test on Willow Oaks and the other popular and they were dead. Contacted Nature Hills who told me I'd have to pay 1/2 the cost of tree plus shipping...which I did. The new trees are doing nothing and it's been two months. Not very happy with purchase. I felt for the cost and size of trees and the guarantee should be better. Not inclined to pay a 3rd time. In some fairness we live in Texas and have had enormous amounts of rain this year...so this might have affected them but I really feel that should have been a positive. Not a satisfied customer. Ordered trees from them in sping of 2008, when trees budded in spring of 2009, three of them did not and were dead. Went to their web site to look up the warranty, and it is "half price of the tree plus shipping charges", the lady on the phone said "one year" when asked if they warrantied the trees, nothing about half price and shipping, any way bit the bullet because one of the trees I paid $59.95 . After not hearing a response to my email I called, was informed that the trees arrived on 04/29/2008 and it was now 05/18/2009 and they would not do anything. It was still cold here on 04/29 and nothing had budded yet. The rest of the trees are all right, so I know I took care of them, they just weren't strong enough to make it through the winter.
Will not order from them again, and don't recommend that you do either.
