Well, looks like I was just another newbie to this scam. However, seems like they've up'd their anty. My charges to my card were $85.91. I did get emails on the cost cutter & fit program thing within 5 minutes of placing my order so I was able to nip that in the bud quickly - to date, I haven't seen any charges & made sure to keep my cancellation confirmation numbers and who I spoke to. Once I filed a dispute with my bank for these new charges, I called their customer service group & called them out. I got the "you had 14 days as a trial period & you were told that your account would be charged if it wasn't cancelled". I told them their shipment didn't even arrive until 9 days after the order was placed. I also told them there is nothing on their receipt that came with the trial bottle that stated any of these "little extras." Then I told them I'd be more then happy to file fraud charges with my bank as well as filing a complaint with Consumer Services & the BBB if they didn't refund my account and cancel the so called membership. I also told them that they might want to consider revising their "email order confirmation" to state these terms instead of "risk free trial" and no mention of us getting slammed with absurd prices for a 30 day trial of a weight loss product if they truly wanted to be a company people would trust & do business with. I was told I'd be getting my account refunded for the full amount within 10-15 days - you can bet I'll be keeping an eye out on my account for this. I will still be following through with my banks dispute as well. Hoping people see this & don't buy anything from this company.
