I like to think of ourselves as a professional type of mom and pop shop. As a two man show, we envision our practice offering a more intimate experience to the attorney-client relationship. We care about the cause behind the claim, not just dollars and cents the claim may bring to our pockets. And as such, we will always pursue the path most advantageous for our clients – Matt and I have never recommended settlement so we can simply be paid. We get to know our clients, the facts of their case and their file intimately. At our practice the client is not reduced to a file a number. At larger firms, a main selling point is "a team of people will be dedicated to the client's case" - in actuality the lawyer with the least amount of experienced is earmarked to work on the client’s case with very little oversight from more experience attorneys, until trial nears. The problem with this approach is – good litigators know how to position their client’s throughout litigation to maximize value and eliminating the uncertainty trial brings to receiving a recovery.
