I came in for Physical Therapy due to an injury. My insurance confirmed that I had physical therapy benefits. They billed me for procedures that had "Chiropractic codes" which my insurance did not cover. I was not informed that they were using Chiropractic codes and not Physical Therapy codes. When my insurance denied the charges they insisted that I pay the full amount for these services that I never would have authorized had I known they were procedures not covered by my insurance. They have not responded to letters I have written to them regarding these billing issues. Also, they have failed to take some of the negotiated adjustments on procedures that were covered. Totally unethical and inept business office!
