Great to see. The view was awesome. The whole thing is a lot of walking and a lot of stairs through the castle. Peaceful place in Bavaria. Ticket price was just EUR 12.00 and good thing is that Children under 18 years of age are free of charge.

Exterior was really beautiful, as was the whole setting. No one is allowed to wander the tour at their leisure but it was still worth a look. If one is a Wagner fan, this would be a great place to see. The views from the town, the ride up to the castle and from the castle itself were breathtaking!

It's easy to get castle fatigue from all the lovely castles in Europe, but Neuschwanstein still manages to impress. By the time we arrived the English tours had sold out but we had a great time just checking out the outside. The surrounding area is beautiful and if you're in Bavaria, this is a must to see.
