Scam, scam, scam! Company promotes "free money." Yes, I know, nothing's free. Went online to look at it, but when they asked for CC info, I exited. They called and said they needed $1.98 for shipping of info packet and free trial of their website, which would cost me close to $70/month at the end of a 30 day trial. I said I was definitely not interested in website, but would pay the $1.98. (Stupid of me, I know) I called them to cancel everything after not receiving anything for almost a week and was told that I had cancelled in time and that I would have no further charges. Later that week, I found a small (less than $4) charge on my banking statement. When I called the bank, they told me it was related to this company. I called and was told this was a charge for a buying/selling real estate e-book that I had agreed to buy. When I said I had not purchased this, they told me that I agreed to it when I signed up online. (Remember, I exited the program when it asked for financial info) Initially, I was told that it was a non-refundable charge, but when I got pissy and asked for a supervisor, it was resolved, or so I thought. Just tonight, I found another $30 charge on my checking acc't. I can't call tonight, (Sunday), but first thing tomorrow I'm calling the company, (and asking for a supervisor ist thing), my bank and the FL Attny's office to see if fraud charges can be filed.
