We are the newly recruited Nigeria Customs staff in 2008/2009 recruitment. Our names were published in the Thisday news paper 30th march, 2009 as succesful candidates from the exams and interview conducted. Were issued appointment letters, completed our documentation but were denied of going to training. we are about 47 university graduates. on the ground that our spaces were replaced with other people, that we should wait for the next recruitment. Also on the ground that we were employed on consol 06, instead of consol 08, that is against the civil service rule for university graduate to be on consol 06. but we were asked to write an acceptance letter if the rank given to us is ok by us, which we did and accepted. Despite that, we were still denied. Presently, our appointment letters are still with us. We are crying on this board so that our service numbers should be issued to us and go on training. thank.
