During the warranty period, the lens motor stopped working and got the "Lens Error" displayed on the LCD. Nikon refuses to fix the problem saying it is not covered by warranty saying it is because of the abuse since there are scratches on the case!!! Their warranty is not worth anything and they try any excuse to get out of their legal obligations. No more Nikon for me in the future.
