Nokia N72 not working after use of just 2 yrs
I bought a Nokia mobile 2 yrs ago. Now its not working. When I have shown this to Nokia care they say it can not be repaired. Buy a new one. Does this mean that Nokia delivers products which are of use just for 2 yrs... This a bad name on the brand.

Phone damaged in care center and nokia not taking responsibility
I purchased a nokia 6220 2 months ago, i sent it for repairs to a fault 2 weeks after I purchased it. There was a scratch and 2 scuff marks on the screen of the phone when I sent it for repairs. The phone has come back now with 10 scratches across the face of the screen. I have spoken to Nokia care center and was told in no uncertain terms that the phone came in scratched so tough they were not taking responsibility for it.' It seems that if there is any marks on your phone when you send it for repair to nokia they take this as permission to handle the phone with lack of care. I now have a phone that I can not see the screen properly because of their carelessness.

Scam
To whom it may concern:
We are residents of Fiji Islands here in the Pacific. On 27/08/08 at 12.40am(Fiji time) we received at txt saying CONGRATS YOU HAVE WON A NOKIA MOBILE PROMO OF 110, 000POUNDS TO CLAIM SEND AND EMAIL TO [email protected] . We send the email and received a reply from Promo Coordinator Mr Evans Anthony John: Tel: +44 -704-575-789 or fax: +(44) 700 592 1282. We received an email with the Nokia Mobile Reward with the verification confirmation requirement mail and a payment release form and it also had a verification number. The address given was 2 Queen Anne's Gate London SW1H 9AA UNITED KINGDOM.
We also spoken to him on another mobile no on which we received the txt. He said that we should not forward the courier fee to him but to the company's accounts department.
Please could anyone help us here and tell us if this is true or false?

One disgusting experience
This handset has been one frustrating experience of my life... I bought a 5310 in March and by May the handset starts having problems with the outgoing audio. My god i thought the nokia guys were making a cell phone not a mp3 player (and a pathetic one at that ). And what a cell phone i own without a proper microphone. I have submitted it at the care center 4 times by now and every time it comes back without any improvement whatsoever in its condition. I don't know what geniuses work for nokia maintenance now a days. Its been three months since I have been able to properly use the phone without yelling my lungs out.

You guys seriously need to do something about what untested sets you release in the market and your maintenance facilities.In trying to incorporate features and design you guys have forgotten the basic functionalities of the device.

CAUTION!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SET AS POSSIBLE!!!

Pathetic and not at all customer oriented service provided by Nokia Care
Pathetic and not at all customer oriented service provided by Nokia Care HCL Care or by Nokia itself. I have taken my Mobile handset to nokia care three time every time they kept my for 20-20 days and return to me in same condition. When ever we go back to Nokia care they simply ask to submit the nokia handset for 20+ that set noting else. Worst and Pathetic Mobile Manufacturer is NOKIA only.

I am using Nokia E62 and there is problem from third month onward.

Nokia 5310
I had purchased a Nokia 5310 S/N 35899012632402
on 15/03/08 from a cell phone provider here in the Republic of Panama called Movistar. I understand it is owned by a Spanish company called Telefonica.

Up to this point I had a less expensive Nokia. I had to change phones because Movistar was about to phase out the service signal for the phone I had.

Immediately upon use of the phone at my home I noticed I'd get dropped network connections. I'd have to walk outside my house or to another room to get a signal.

I returned the phone and was given a temp phone by Movistar

Twice I did this in the intervening months until now.

None of the so called repairs that were supposedly performed improved transmission or reception of this phone.

In the mean time my wife purchased a low end Nokia from Moviestar. It works perfectly!

On July 30th 2008 I returned the phone it was dead.

After some deliberation by Movistar they tell me the phone is "infiltrated with water" or in other words it's damaged from humidity. The supervisor at the Movistar Store in David, Panama told me that "these phones are not designed for the humidity of Panama"

However they would not replace my phone.

Apparently Movistar doesn't have any recourse with Nokia to handle replacement of defective phones? This is beyond comprehension.

There is no Nokia repair centers in Panama. I'm currently trying to contact Nokia about this but so far I keep ending up at a dead end.

I'm not going to give up. But I though I better start passing the word around about the Nokia 5310 and the failure of Movistar Panama to support it's customers and the difficulty I have trying to find a Nokia repair center to send this phone to for replacement or repair.

p.s. Movistar returned the phone to me with a cut in the edge of the plastic see through screen lens.. unbelievable

Technical problems
I am using nokia n70 music edition and I want to scan my mobile for virus & also want to use mass data storage for fast data transferring from computer... but in N70 I cant have mass data storage option...and I can not scan my cell with nokia PC suit which is only a option for cell connectivity via data cable with computer... there are other nokia product which is lower than N70 is having mass data storage option but why should I suffer after paying money for this costly cell???

Dear all purchasers please refer my note before purchasing cell...
