IMEI: 358652019392899 - I purchased on 8-10-08 and on 25-12-08 itself it got hanged with blank display and given for service at Joy Cell Peramburm chennai 600011. Display and strip and LCD Sticker replaced L3 completed and I was assured that if any problem occured in future Nokia Care Service Cernter would give me the New Handset. Thereafter during september and october 09 again the same fault occured and it was given for repair at Nokia Care Raksha Impex, Kilpauk, Chennai 600 010 and repaired and now on 4-1-10 when the same complaints occured, it was given to nokia care at Raksha Impex, who wanted to give an estimate and I was told that the Strip had gone and I need to pay Rs.2400/= towards the replacemnet and service charge since the warranty had gone and that too i had to waite for one week to get the same repaired. Now on diaproval of the estimate I got the handset repaired in another private Mobile Service Centre in chennai (Baba Mobiles) and the actual fault was not the stip as claimed by Nokia care at Kilpauk, but it was only the display fault and the same was replaced within half an hour and costing me only Rs.400/= thereby exposing the fact that the Nokia Care at Kilpauk (Raksha Impex) is simply doing nothing that too only with half backed technicians since I was able to see at least half a dozen of customers on 4-1-10 who received their handsets in the morning after repair while I went to give my hand set for repair had only come back in the very same evening to complain against the very same fault for which it was given for repair that too after shellilng out a hefty service charges for the same.
Hence the genuine customers are being duped and cheated at the cost of the reputation of Nokia India Mobile and hence the same needs to be throughly investigated and necessary remedial measures need to be taken most immediately and I need to be adequately compensated for all the fraud played on me or else I would be constrained to initiate appropriate proceedings before appropriate forum and claim for all the hardships & damages cused to me. Kindly act most immediately and avoid multiplicity of proceedings.

On 19th of January 2010 at 03:53:24 I received a SMS on my mobile phone telling me that I won R95000 in the NOKIA YEARLY PROMO with ticket No P286. The SMS was send from phone 0825238798 and I was instructed to contact Phone No 0737749413 or email [email protected]. I have done both with no success.

Is this a scam or what?
