The ER at Norman Regional is terrible! I have known of two cases where the people were sent home with a clean bill of health, and died that night... well, it would be three, because one was a nine month pregnant woman and her baby! I have been to this ER, and hated it. They don't want to deal with anyone on Medicaid, and, often, refuse to run tests to find where the problem lies. Most of the doctors are terribly rude, and just want to rush you out of there.

Also, don't go there for depression! If one is suicidal, they bring the cops in, who drag you out in handcuffs, to take you to the county hospital, which is awful! Even if you have insurance!

Again, they are rude, uncaring people, and I would not recommend it to anyone!!!

One night, my husband and I were afraid I was having a heart attack. Even though we lived in Norman, I refused to go to Norman Regional, as I told him, they would kill me! THAT is how bad it is!!!
