I have recently moved a house by a well known house moving company located in Mooresville NC. I unfortunately hired a contractor that did not complete his job or do what was needed to avoid water damage to the home. I lost entire ceilings and had water damage to furniture and woodwork. I did the correct thing and confirmed liabilty insurance before hiring the contractor. To my amazement I have come realized that NC Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co are not forthcoming when a loss is suffered. I have been unable to get any information regarding my claim from my adjuster or the contractor. The adjuster will not return calls or even give a status for the claim. The adjuster works from the Hickory NC office and we are in the same city. DO NOT BUY NC FARM BUREAU INSURANCE. If you do, don't expect customer service or assistance if you have a claim. I guess it is easy to take your money. It is Farm Bureuas after payment policy that really stinks.
