I applied to Nova Car Hire to rent a car for 9 days in Ireland weeks before I was to depart and was given a quote but decided not to accept it. I received a late offer from Nova Car Hire on Friday 24th July which I accepted and phoned Monday 27th to check that everything was in place the day before my departure to Shannon the following day. I was told that I should have received an email (which I didn't) telling me that they could not fulfil the offer. I find it upsetting that they could make this offer so close to my departure and not be able to fulfil it. I had to pay over £200 more than the offer they made. I did receive an email from Nova but the car offers were in excess of the one I hired.
