On or around April 3, 2011, Mr. Aaron Pitts, Vice President of OK Moving & Storage located in Memphis, TN called my moving business. Mr. Pitts had apparently overbooked his schedule and needed to know if I had a truck and crew available to travel to Jonesboro, Arkansas to load a customer of his belongings, travel back to Memphis and then unload the customer's belongings into a storage unit owned by Mr. Tom Pitts and his son, Mr. Aaron Pitts D/B/A "OK Moving & Storage". I was happy to help out a fellow business partner in the same field as me. We agreed upon a price to be paid once the customer's belongings were unloaded in Mr. Pitt's storage unit. My crew performed as instructed. Mr. Pitts presented a check payable to my company in the amount we previously agreed upon. After depositing this check into my business account, his check was returned to me a few days later as insufficient funds. I notified Mr. Pitts immediately and he promised to make the funds good. I have sent him correspondence via Certified Mail, I have contacted several more times in order to give him a chance to make good on this check. The consequences are serious. He will be arrested, this is a felony because the amount is/was $500.00. I believe I have given him more than ample time to be honest. Mr. Pitts refuses to be honest. Stay away from OK Moving & Storage, Memphis, TN. If they are dishonest with fellow local business' who went out of their way to help them, do you think they are going to be honest with you?
