Single, educated women aren't given apartments to live on their own. Whether they call themselves literate or illiterate, the majority of landlords consider single women as prostitutes.

Of course, Pakistani feudal mindset cannot accept the idea of educated women. Pakistani men are so envious of women they'd do anything to make life miserable for them -- unless the women know how to keep themselves happy despite the illiteracy that surrounds them at all times.
