I was shopping at Pathmark with my husband. He got on line and I went to fine a dry cereal. He had reach the cashier and he said later she was so professional. When I got to the line with him and place my cereal on the U scan, she had a nerve to say, " I'm sorry Miss, the line is behind Mark. I said Mark is my husband and this is completely out of order. My husband said later, he never gave the Jamaican lady his name, it's on the card. I asked to speak to the manager, and she said, "come on, what now!" I explained to her how this is unprofessional. It is not for her to call my husband by his first name and try to stop me from putting my cereal with our food. The manager did nothing. She even said "Thank you Mark" when we picked up our food. My husband was embarrassed and said nothing. We will not be going back to that Pathmark or any Pathmark again.
The store has become very "Ghetto, " I am sorry to say. No training on how to treat female customers. They know how to act when it is a man, but there is either no response for woman or it's something rude! They stay open later than most stores and this is how they get you.
