Financial exploitation (documented with evidence)

Accusations:

1-They tried to cheat on the dates of the financial quotes (quote will be invalid after 3 months)
2-They actually overcharged on the initial quote.

Prior to leaving Europe for a surgery to Dr. Paul Nassif, in Beverly Hills USA, I asked his patient care consultant, Lisa Greene, for a financial quote: on September 2009. Lisa Greene sent me (on September 2009) a financial quote dated: February 2011 (they cheated and lied on dates!). You might ask, what is the point here? All Financial Quotes are bound by the agreement: ‘Quote is valid for 90 days, (If price increases within 90 days, we honour your quote, if you schedule surgery after 90 days we adjust the quote)’. So they could change the price easily since the financial quote was dated on February 2011 not on September 2009 where my surgery was to be held in October 2009. Remember, February 2011 was beyond my surgery date which was in October 2009 (see uploaded evidence number 1-scroll down).

In September 2009 I asked her again to send me a proper financial quote (dated in September) and she did quoting: $16, 850.00. (see uploaded evidence number 2-scroll down).

I had my consult about 11 hours prior to surgery (at 5:00 pm-after office hours). They insisted that I signed a lot of documents and to pay immediately. Once at their clinic they gave me another financial quote of $20, 050.00 (with appropriate dates: October 2009) and from $16, 850.00 the price escalated to $20, 050.00 (see uploaded doc 3 for evidence). $20, 050.00 is the price I had to pay excluding additional expenses of rib/ear grafts, lab tests, night stay, supplies, etc... They cornered me! Under undue influence I was mentally blind and had no other choice but to pay and sign. Scroll down to the comments for the reasons and evidence how they cornered me. 11 hours after the consult (surgery was about to commence 11 hours after-the following morning) I was shocked when I saw a doctor who wanted to take part of my ribs and an additional $3, 600.00. I sensed that I was being ripped off and I warned him to back off. I cried; I did not know what to do!

Exactly after I barely recovered from anaesthesia (I was still in an unconscious state) Lisa Greene asked me where to find my credit card and took money from my credit card to pay expensive supplies from their store (which I had already paid for).

Furthermore, you can see further evidence to substantiate my claim that this was a trap for money, scroll further down to the comments.

Be careful! According to online articles Paul Nassif is in a lawsuit with an insurance company (CIGNA) claiming that the insurance company told its customers that Paul Nassif is committing fraud and they have their “eye on him”. Be Careful! I cried, cried, cried.

Paul Nassif’s Physician-Patient Arbitration Agreement

I was an easy prey for Paul Na$$if.

Apart from multiple legal contracts to sign he gave me another legal contract to sign which if I knew about before I would never cross the ocean in order to go to him and have the surgery done. 1-After flying long distances to his office, 2-After paying $21, 000.00 for the nose (it would cost much more than $21, 000.00 for ear/rib cartilage grafts), 3-After being cornered to sign, 4-After I had no other choice but to follow their instructions since they wanted to go home (my consult was held After office hours) and they failed to explain what a patient should know but they explained what was of benefit to them- they gave me a “Physician-Patient Arbitration Agreement”. They never informed me about Paul Nassif’s “Physician-Patient Arbitration Agreement” before!

A “Physician-Patient Arbitration Agreement” imposes on patients that patients give up their constitutional rights to have any Malpractice dispute against Paul Nassif decided in court of law before a jury-as provided by California law. Furthermore, after a short period of time of not arbitrating the patient has no rights to arbitrate and the surgeon gets away with his Malpractice.

Paul Nassif knew that since I am not from the US I will have to struggle much more to settle my claim for Malpractice (involving much more expenses, travelling, and other obstacles a foreigner may come across)- so why giving me such contract to sign and why not informing me about the contract beforehand?

Furthermore, apart from the other multiple legal documents patients have to sign, he gave me a ‘Gag Contract’ to stifle my rights of freedom of expression on the internet. His US patients have to follow his ‘Gag Contracts’ orders but since I live outside the US I do not follow his ‘Gag Contracts’- although they still pester me with his ‘Gag Contracts’ to ‘maintain privacy’ and shut up!

So if I have difficulty to sue Paul Nassif for his Malpractice and I have difficulty in expressing myself over the internet, how will Paul Nassif be punished for his Malpractices? How will other patients be informed about his Malpractices? I Cry over big time for my experience with Paul Nassif. I was an easy prey for Paul Na$$if.
