I bought a "Micro Chihuahua" from Paula Manterola a few years ago. She told me that the puppy would grow to no more than 2 lbs. She also told me that the puppy was 12 weeks old and weighed 12 ozs. I paid close to $2000 for the puppy. When she came she weighed 2 lbs. I called her and complained and she said that she was done growing. The health certificate came from a vet in Texas. I called them and they would not talk to me. I also called the airline to complain that they would accept a certificate from a vet that never even saw the puppy and was over a 1000 miles away. I didn't get any satisfaction from anyone. The bottom line is that my "micro Chihuahua" weighs 12 lbs and has a severe underbite. I love her dearly but truely wanted a tiny dog and was completely disappointed.
