Fraudulent Car Dealer
I scheduled a showing for a 2006 Nissan Murano with these guys. I show up and they say the car "isn't ready" because its being "inspected." I ask them "why" and they said they do it on every car. Hour and a half later it shows up, turn signals don't work. He tells me his "mechanic" didn't have time to finish hooking up the wires and he'd give me $200 off. I test drive it and end up buying it b/c with 22k miles and no accidents it was a deal at $15, 900. I drive it 4 hours back home and take it to Nissan...3 hours later they call me and list a page and a half of repairs that need to be done. Turns out the $4, 460 worth of repairs includes fixing a broken ignition they had glued together(i find out the car had been stolen and wrecked later) and the mechanic told me I could have died driving it home because the steering wheel can lock and you can have a head-on accident. Thanks Payless Auto Deals. So...a great deal turns out to be a huge lie. The mechanic(who had been Nissan foreman for 28 years!) told me to take the car back and get my money back. Payless said I signed an As-Is and they deny everything. wow! I swear to god, if you have a chance...stay away from Payless Auto Deals. Fraudulent all the way. I just lost close to $7, 000 on this deal. Don't make my mistake. These aren't just bad cars, they are wrecked cars being bought at auction in the state of Florida that are being chop-shopped put back together and sold with fake vin #s.
