I have been looking for a chihuahua puppy for my son for Christmas and came across multiple cute ones on the pennysaver listings. I e-mailed 5 of these ads, and four of them were replied to by the same party (using different alias' such as 'thelma d"--all telling the same (similar) sad story about the two puppies that she just can't keep. When I called her bluff and told her I suspected fraud, yet another (pre-written, misspelled auto-reply) reply came, dropping the price for "shipping" the puppy from Cameroon by half, to just $60.00!! Now I get about 10 e-mails a day trying to get my to bite. That went on for a few days. How sad for people who don't see the fraud and might expect a cute little puppy for the holidays!
