I purchased 5 saltwater fish from Pet Supplies Plus, Airport Highway store in Toledo, Ohio. 10-12 days later I noticed ich on these fish. I immediately began treating with kich-ich, etc and doing water changes. I eventually lost 17 very expensive fish, including the 5 fish from PSP.

Initially the manager denied they had ich, but obviously they did. They lost every salt water fish they had due to the ich. I found out that they had a new employee who did put copper in the water, but forgot to take out the charcoal filter; making the copper totally ineffective.

The corporate office says the ich came from my tank as the fish were stresssed. Well I wonder why their fish were stressed.

I would never do business or recommend Pet Supplies Plus to anyone. They do not accept responsibility for their mistakes.
